Okay, don’t laugh please I have a Turkish friend of mine here who is taking me on Turkish language lessons. Oga says he wanna marry me. No problem o He says he wants a big gown wedding for me. Kosi wahala. No problem at all. Nsogbu adiro ya. I tell Oga that we don’t marry like that in Africa. He asks how we marry. Kasala burst How do I tell him that this marriage he is dreaming about will definitely become family business? How do I shape mouth to explain the brideprice phenomenon to him? Tell me, how? How do I let him know that down here, we do introduction upon introduction, upon introduction and then engagement and then many ceremonies before the “big gown wedding? Chai! See how this world has shrunk! But, it is a serious matter o, what do I tell this innocent man? Hmm!
Big thanks and heart felt gratitude to all who made my Birthday memorable and showed me love, Special thanks to My Family, friends from Fedpoly Ede, O.A.U ile-ife, NANs Comrades and Leaders, NADESSTU members, Old Boys of IBHS, A.O.C, friends across the Niger and beyond, may Joy and Happiness never cease from ur lives.
Nigeria truly belongs to Everybody and Nobody, many thanks to PMB, its amazing to witness the Change Asiwaju Tinubu Preached consume him all of a sudden..this is a pointer to the fact that our democracy has no respect for any body, institution or group of persons. Today I can say that truly Change has come to Nigeria. Vox populi vox dei! Better days are ahead for us as a country.
The Nigerian ship is without a captain. The president is out for G7 meeting, The vice president in South Africa, no Senate President, no Speaker, no Secretary to government, no sitting government. Was this the same reason Pa Buhari government was overthrown by the evil genius IBB in 1985? Again Nigeria is back to square zero # indeed change seems to have another meaning. #just thinking

APC Reaction :
It is political, why now.
This is Nigerian opposition for you. This is APC. The party
don’t have manifesto.
Where is GMB? As the timber and caliber of the APC gathered today to celebrate with General Olusegun Obasanjo the Ebora Owu, it is expected that the APC presidential aspirant GMB should have been present to felicitate with baba. Rumours have it GMB has been out of the country due to ill health which is associated with ageing. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to reapeat them, I just hope that GMB’s disappearance isn’t another case of Umoru are you alive?
It is laughable that below is the certificate of GMB..its amazing how we can condescend to accept this as real and authentic. This certificate is not only fake, counterfeit but a slap to Nigeria ‘ s collective intelligence. My observations are..1 The title of the supposed certificate goes thus SSCE/WASSCE/NECO with the NECO struck out, was there NECO in 1961? 2. The date 1961 has a prefix of 20 which suggests that the certificate ought to be valid from the year 2000, this 20 was again struck out. 3.The general’s picture is a very recent picture when did he apply for this certificate? 4. The examination officer signed on 21/01/15 was this the day he sat for the exam or what? 5.The principal also signed and stamped on 21/01/15 I don’t seem to understand this too. Please all I ask for are clarifications as regards these alterations. Until proven genuine this again is another case of TORONTO.
Thanks to all my friends and family who made 2014 Colourful and a memorable one for me. Indeed 2014 was a year full of twists, turns and intrigues, I had the Good, Bad and Beautiful situations, couldn’t have had it better. Looking forward to a robust 2015 filled with joy and happiness. Happy New Year in advance friends.
“Obasanjo is behaving like somebody who wants to cover (up) something at all cost. When he was (the president), Buhari was not visiting him regularly. Sometimes, when he goes to the (Presidential) Villa, I wonder if he has shame at all. Most of the problems in this country were caused by Obasanjo. I was an Obasanjo boy. Obasanjo can’t be celebrated as a saint in Nigeria. When he talks, I just shake my head.” – Gov Ago Fayose
“Politics is dynamic. Nobody knows tomorrow. Who knew Asiwaju could work together with Buhari? They had gone separate ways in the past. But they (Tinubu and associates) are the same people that packaged him (Buhari), which is good. They ate from the same plate afterward. You can never know what tomorrow holds; only God knows. We don’t know if there will be new parties. But I’m sure there will be alignment. I’m telling you whatever that will represent the Yoruba nation – Nigeria as a whole – I will be part of it.” – Gov Ayo Fayose
