Now a family would mourn over a loved one due to the strike…with respect to the dead..ASUU would also know what it means to loose a vibrant member..one whose UNIBEN chapter of ASUU voted against the suspension of the strike..could this be nemesis catching up on someone?? This death is one of the many disadvantages of the over 4months strike..RIP Prof Festus Iyayi (Former ASUU President)..Faggie repent and fear God.
Finally ASUU OAU chapter takes to the street. The much awaited ASUU OAU Rally to save public education takes place today, kick off time is 9am @ the campus, the train would move across the nooks and crannies of Ile-Ife. Concurrently ASUU UniOsun would hold Osogbo to ransom. Students, Comrades and the Nigerian people in osun and environs are urged to storm this rallies. Viva Aluta!
As Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State Suspends its Students’ Union.
Revolutionary Greetings, Its been said and its very true that “He who makes a Peaceful existence unavailable makes a Violent one inevitable” Federal Polytechnic Ede Students’ Union has been known to be one that is Peaceful, Progressive and Pro-Active. With the recent development in the school it is evident that the School’s Management team lacks the required Leadership skill for conflict resolution, if they have a deficiency in leadership they should ask the immediate past Rector the secret to his success for years. It is Satanic and undemocratic for the management to deprive the students the right to be governed by their elected representatives. Suspending the Union without a just cause is criminal and a condemnable act, it is a rape on students democracy and such devilish acts would not only be restricted, it will be faced with strict opposition and the implications might be fatal for those who are involved in this conspiracy against the Nigerian Student. It is imperative to state and set the records straight that the union was suspended as a result of the Sept 27 Stampede of the Governors cup kick off in the school premises. All over the world government officials with questionable characters have been stampeded, questioned, deprived from addressing and if need be imprisoned. Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has over the years neglected the tertiary institutions in the state and by extension the two Federal institutions in Osun State (Fedpolyede and OAU), why then should he kick off a game when the State owned institutions are in shambles and are an eyesore? Why should the games start when the students have pressing issues that needs urgent government intervention? What has he contributed to the lives of Nigerian students? 2007 I recall vividly how my colleagues, students activist where imprisoned in ilesha prison some up to 9 months because they believed in his mandate, some eventually lost their studentship because they identified with Rauf and his course, what has he done to repay such ones? And now Federal Poly Ede management believes the only thing they can do to appease the governor is to suspend the union. Since when did the management become answerable to the state government? Why would the management conive with the state government to suspend the union? Why would they turn FedPolyEde into a Campaign ground for APC just to float Aregbe’s second term ambition? As for the governor he has been declared Persona non grata on all tertiary institutions in osun state until he tells us his plans for Education and students’ of tertiary schools. The Nigerian student won’t get involved in partisan politics nor be used as stoogies or puppet by any politician/ political party. We hereby order the immediate restoration of the Federal Poly Ede Students’ Union even as we mobilize our brothers from all over the country to join us in this fight against this cancerous anti-student policy called Union Proscription. I urge all past Union leaders of FedPolyEde, Students, stake holders and progressives that you join this war against victimization, the battle is a Just one and its ours to win. In the words of Dele Giwa “Any evil done by Man to Man will be redressed, If not now then certainly later if not by man then certainly by God, for the Victory of Evil over Good can only be temporary” An injury to one is an injury to all” Aluta Continua

@ASUU, when you were offered 100B you refused and disclosed this openly, when 30B was added you did same, we followed your course, joined your rallies, embraced your struggles, we organised symposiums and forums as our contributions to the fight for Public Education..and now the Vice President takes over negotiations and ASUU Chairman tells us that he “has a message for his members’ and not Nigerians”..hummm..this is typical of NLC,TUC, ASUU and other labour unions, at any time money changes hands you start hearing things like “we have a message for our members not Nigerians, we think we can trust the new FG representatives, the FG is working closely with us” when we hear statements like this we understand that the struggle has been betrayed, and as usual Nigerians are on their own..however the blood of those that lost their lives for a better country, the Spirit and labour of our Heroes past will hunt and destroy anyone that betrays this Fight for a better, effective and efficient Public Education! AGOLO SAMSON Secretary General NANs/JCC Osun Axis.

Those whom the gods would destroy they first make mad! How else would u explain madness other than seeing our so called “leaders” in their dance of shame busy breaking away from their political party @ d expense of their primary assignments? And who is their leader and mentor? Atiku Abubakar…lol..I laugh in tahiti! Nigeria wake up from your Slumber!
Mitterand Okorie was right ditto for Immanuel James Ibe-Anyanwu. No association thrives on violence for long and still retain its good will and legitimacy. The people of Anambra State who defied their stay at home directive by voting has effectively rendered the agitation losing taste and flavour impotent here in Anambra State. People will henceforth look IPOB in the face and disregard their stupid rants and orders. Think. What will an election boycott achieve? Cow Buhari to heed to Biafra? Who loses out eventually in a boycott? The proponents of boycott have they bothered to think what will be the fate of Anambra State in the wake of that unfortunate illegal order they sought to entrench here? Nnamdi Kanu has lost his good will. He is out of circulation as they say. IPOB accused him of graft and denounced him even finding a new director for their radio. The failed boycott move in Anambra is the last nail that made his coffin ready for burial. Nnamdi Kanu is now a villain and a persona non grata!!!
Tomorrow expectedly INEC will announce the winner of the Anambra State Guber polls. I am happy that the miscreants and hoodlums mostly non indigenes of Anambra State who style themselves as IPOB were defeated. Their monstrous blackmail for the elections to be averted crumbled as Anambrans came out enmasse to decide their future. I have always wondered why those hoodlums and societal dregs succeed here and never in any other place in the South East. Today my fellow Anambrans made me proud by defying their stupid order. Anambra State is a First Class state that has produced several giants and still producing in several endeavours. We are the numero uno. We can’t stoop low and allow a misfit like Kanu and his delusional rag tag supporters entrench confusion in this State. Ndi Anambra thanks for exercising your civic rights. We shall continue to forge ahead!!!
