Today was an important day; a tipping point, if you will, according to Gladwell

Today was an important day; a tipping point, if you will, according to Gladwell…We have 300 amazing rockstars who are all vital part of our family! These 300 family members choose every single day to be a part of our tribe. We do not take that for granted. The most amazing part is, all of them have joined because another KW team member made it possible. Yes, every single person came to us by way of another associate and THEY contacted US! There are a million different reasons why they choose us to partner with but one thing they all know is there is not a day that goes by that we are not fine tuning our levels of support or a day that goes by that we do not give them all that we’ve got! We have built a large, stable staff who gets that our team members are our clients and that WE are their leverage! We knew that growing to this level would mean so much to our people…For them to have a strong, large team of trained experts surrounding them, to have not one mentor but MANY who share and give back at a high level, to have more market share, more resources…….meant they could grow very quickly towards reaching their goals AND…more profit for their families!!! I have been through a very tough time in this business and trust me, building one large sustainable office is the only model that works in ANY market, at ANY time in the market. It bullet proofs you from consolidation and layoffs and simply provides more resources, tools, programs and education to plow through the tough times! In fact, we are at our best during those times!
SO…cheers to our KWPR family for growing from within and helping so many agents, clients and families to reach their goals! We just reached a big one!!!! #kwpr #kwraleighbriercreek #youareonlyasgoodasthosearoundyou #changinglives

“Is it unChristian to not want radical jihadists shooting people in our communities? That’s hardly a far-fetched scenario

“Is it unChristian to not want radical jihadists shooting people in our communities? That’s hardly a far-fetched scenario. So how do we balance competing goods—the good of welcoming in suffering people and the good of keeping out those who want to inflict suffering on others? And how do we pursue these ends when it may be impossible to know if we are helping the right people? The answer is not as easy as fear versus compassion. Christian charity means loving the safety of the neighbor next door at least as much as loving the safe passage of the neighbor far away.”

I hope Gov

I hope Gov. Pat McCrory will make the right decision for the state of NC.
We need to have compassion particularly for the women and children who are refugees, but also great wisdom in regards to our own protection.
Below is the blog post I wrote back in September on this very issue.

After getting his facts wrong about Senator Rubio’s tax plan in Tuesday’s debate, Senator Paul is trying a new line of attack: Rubio supposedly would give the child tax credit to illegal immigrants. One problem is that Rubio has specified that illegal immigrants won’t be eligible for the credit. Another is that Rubio has sponsored legislation to cut off illegal immigrants who are getting the credit now. One of his co-sponsors: Senator Paul.

“God is real

“God is real… He loves every human being on earth whether you are an embryo or behind bars…”
Below is the video that introduced me to Marco Rubio back in 2008, just before he launched his run for US Senate.
I met him the next year and have been impressed by his love for God and for his country ever since then. Watch this.

“… proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;
to grant to those who mourn in Zion- to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.” – Isaiah 61:2-3

Hill City and Keystone Parents and Students see below from Mrs. Satter, please share:
1) I’d like to invite as many people as possible to make/design/decorate a card for Lexi Scott and her family. I will be at the keystone community center Thursday from 12- 5. Stop by and help. There will be snacks.
2) I’d like to start helping to put together a book of memories/stories/pictures of Ty for his family. Students can find me Thursday morning at school or Thursday afternoon at the keystone CC. This will be an ongoing project. They can reach out to me/email or text me/ or bring me anything they want to put in a book to give to his family.
Can you put this out on as many social media forums as you can for me? I would like to reach as many students – middle school and high school and recent grads- as possible.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I got to spend Mother’s Day afternoon with these ladies, watching, as our 2018 Corn Maze got planted. I have the best husband and father-in-law!!
I am so lucky to be able to be this little trio’s mom. Some moments (….ok, DAYS) are long and hard, but then I think about where I used to be, before them. These 3 ladies have given me a new purpose in life, so much responsibility, an unimaginable amount of pride and love that I never could have comprehended, before they came in to my life.
I am very thankful that God chose me to be their Mama!!

So our preschool resumes next week by God’s grace

So our preschool resumes next week by God’s grace. We are so looking forward to having fun with the kids. But I have two requests, asking parents, friends and friends of children……
One, I need people who would love to volunteer to read a story to the kids, any day of any week. It won’t take more than 20 minutes. And you will love the experience I assure you!!
Second request, many people do not know that we have spaces for orphans and children in need. So far, we’ve had 2 children in need finish in the preschool. This year we have spaces for 3 or 4. If you know of and child with a tragic story ( even if not orphaned), pls contact us asap, that is if they can get to our preschool easily.
Inbox me if you’d like to discuss anyone if these cases. God bless you Josites and friends!!!
