The rate at which some persons sees project carried out by GYB as nonsense is sad and funny,
Tinubu started projects in Lagos State, and Fashola continued, Ambode has no right or reasons not to continue what he met on ground.
If previous government after late Audu has done well beyond what GYB met on ground, then we should be talking about Mega projects now,
Former Gov Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, did the dualization of the LKJ township road,
HE finished the new stadium and also did the Ibro water aka Greater Waterworks,
Aside fine tuning the roads, drainages, patching etc,
Making sure water is available from the Ibro water to the citizens,
Be sure that the stadium is in good shape, the GYB government has no business in trying to work on/ or bringing up such project anymore,
If electric power has bn made available to some villages that are older than the state itself before now,
GYB won’t have gone into providing transformers small or big, and lighting up important villages and towns at this stage / level.
If inter cities and village roads in the State,
Plus roads inherited from Benue, Niger, Edo and Kwara and some eastern States have bn recieving attentions, time after time in the last 25yrs, not sure this GYB government will take such project upon themselves talk more of carrying it on their head.
If the issue of security was checked before now, to reduce kidnapping, robbery etc,
GYB won’t have spent time equipping the federal government security agencies and also forming a state security outfits.
All the GYB government would have done is to continue building those developmental things they met on ground while other projects pump up and take shape to make kogi a moving State, based on the location of the state.
Ice-cold water alone can never cure a banging headache.
By December this year, kogi rice will be everywhere, cassava, garri maize, and fish will be more than enough for us and we will supply exporters.
All the projects that will make this things a reality are all going on,
But people choose not to see it or choose not to talk about it.
Salaries, Salaries, Bros Shegun called me as early as 6:30am saying “brother mi, mo ri alati ni oru ooo” meaning “my brother, I saw alert(salary)in midnight ooo” with serious joy in his voice.
A retired woman who has made so much noise about not getting paid, gave me money to buy airtime, I had to return it cos I know it was done in error, as she has not been paid in 12months,
She said haaaa my son, please take it, I have received 8months payment and she followed it up with prayers.
I bear witness with God and this holy month of Ramadan on this statement.
Bottom line, people are collecting salary, but based on who we are, some choose to lock up and keep telling lies, because they don’t wanna pay their debt.
Every State has their problems, but when lies, blackmail, insults, name callings is what you think makes you an opposition, then I’m sorry, you need go back and learn the trade or profession.
We can’t shy away from the fact that there’s hunger in the land, State, Nation and the world at large.
It’s not easy with the USA and other countries that has secured their tomorrow, talk more of African countries who live / act on EAT EVERYTHING STYLE.
my favorite prayer point is “May it be for each and everyone of us, just as we wish for others.
If you can’t say a loud AMEN to such prayers, you be enemy of progress.
